They are native to South Africa but grown the world around. In Peru they have named them Peruvian Daisies. They only flower in the daylight, at night they close up and go to sleep This is a multiple award winning image, now available only through Fineart America. These are done using selective coloring. The gold in the center is their natural colors. I grow these in Fort Bragg, CA, along the beautiful Mendocino Coast.
We enjoy traveling a great deal and always have a camera or two where ever we may wander. At home Shirley enjoys her garden, cooking and turning photographs into art. Steve is an avid woodworker and had furnished our home with his beautiful works.
