A beautiful scene from Venice, by Shirley Mangini.
Venice is one of the most romantic cities in the world. It is filled with beautiful sights, wonderful restaurants and shops. Imagine walking these cobbled streets hand in hand with a loved one, young and old and taking in the scents and sights that are only found in Venice.
This was shot off the beaten path, at the end of a walkway where there were no one around and just beautiful buildings and the serene waters of the canal.
Venice is the capital of northern Italy's Veneto region, is built on more than 110 small islands in lagoon in the Adriatic Sea. The palaces seem to rise out of the water. There are no cars or roadways, just canals and boats. The Grand Canal winds through the city, which is filled with narrow alleys, small canals and small squares. Located throughout Venice you will find Churches, small grocery stores, restaurants and, of course, many tourist shoppes.
